The operators have to transform their economic activities from physical to online platforms. However, changing the economic activity platform is not as easy as it may seem. It requires the operators to acquire new skills. Therefore, this paper intends to unleash the challenges faced by the operators in transforming their businesses from physical to online platforms. This study employs a qualitative approach to achieve the objective of this study. The main respondent in this study is the fishermen's community. Three parties are involved in this study: the operators (fishermen and the entrepreneurs), the government, and the academia. Findings show that the triple helix model provides a positive platform for operators to continue their businesses online. The bonding between these three parties provides a new path for the informal operators to sustain their well-being and better quality of life.

The study recalled 1,923 documents from 1997 to 2021 using keywords related to the research topic and analyzed this using Microsoft Excel 2019, VOSviewer and Harzing's Publish or Perish software. The findings show that the expansion rate of works in resilience and urban planning has steadily increased every year since 1997. This study's most frequently used terms are the main keywords, which are climate change, sustainability, urban resilience and spatial planning. Landscape and Urban Planning is recommended as the main target journal for publication of the results of this research analysis. Research on COVID-19 or pandemic resilience, public space and urban mobility may eventually supersede prior dominant themes. The findings suggest that researchers from less contributed countries should explore this topic more to provide nuance to this field.

These publications were selected based on several criteria, including a timeline, language, publication type and publication stage. Throughout the process, four themes are identified, namely management and regulation, market competitiveness, people's welfare and productivity: with 13 sub-themes, namely regulation for workers, delicensi...

Based on the analysis of official documents and 18 months of observation and application of semi-structured interviews with key stakeholders, this paper first presents the urban development history of this area, and then discusses it in light of two emergent themes associated with issues of power in informality, namely state power and market forces. Casting a critical eye towards the idea of informality as something that should be "fixed" by urban development practices, this work discusses the sharp influence of state power and market forces in the production of informality in Kuala Lumpur and, consequently, in other global south cities.

This paper will further discuss a case study in which GIS application was applied in identifying resources in Pulau Pangkor, Malaysia and several methodological limitations in applying this application. With the aid of GIS technology, it is believed that sustainable development, which is the main concern today, can be implemented in not only Pulau Pangkor and but also in other countries in Southeast Asia. With its usage, many tourism resources in this region could have proper development plans in minimizing negative impacts on not only the resources but also local communities. Southeast Asia is rich of many different cultures, heritage and environment which are worth preserving.

Tourism in Malaysia plays an important role in contributing to its economy whilst raising awareness of the local cultures. Cameron Highlands, a historical hill station with agriculture and natural attractions has the potential to become top travel destination due to its natural properties, historical attractions and location. However the information booth formerly by Tourism Board Malaysia closed down in early 2000, as such little information can be delivered to the tourists from official bodies except through their website. Currently, tourism development and activities is seen to be monopolised and self-promoted by private entities. These activities are highly geared towards mass tourism, adventure tourism and ‘greenwashed’ ecotourism with many having destructive effects on the environment and local community. Hence, this research study is carried out to determine the tourists’ impression towards having a discovery center for Cameron Highlands. The research employs quantitative method from data obtained through questionnaires survey. The questionnaire is divided into two parts; part A covering demographic profile and part B on acceptance and perceptions of discovery center. Meanwhile, the sampling area chosen and data collection was carried out at the main tourist areas which are Tanah Rata and Brinchang. The analysis used in this research study is descriptive analysis. The result shows that having a discovery center in Cameron Highlands will instill a positive attitude of tourists toward nature preservation and conservation through increasing awareness towards heritage cultural and natural environment, educate the people towards the importance of conserving heritage cultural, promote ecotourism sector, and provide income to local communities and the indigenous people (Orang Asli).
