how do you guys feel about the mixing of sunny d and your malt liquor of choice? i made my friend drink it with me and she then placed a ban on listening to the beastie boys for the rest of the evening. awww.

i have not posted or even really looked at live journal in a couple years and i see all of you peeps keeping the maltliquorfans site alive! so, that mean i will make the effort to post OE-themed messages once again.just so y'all know about one of the founders, i am an OE conisseur. i live in canada so our selection is not as vast as those south of the border - but what we have gets the job done. see, up here in the north, our OE is 8.0%, rather than america's 6 or 7 or whatever. i usually don't drink more than one forty in a night, but it is usually accompanied by some green stuff and other beers/liquors.i like puking.i have a cat. her name is kittysometimes i like to have my OE served at room temperature.i bought a half-drank OE that sat on my roommate's desk for almost a week without the cap on it for 50 cents (or so).i wish i had one right now.YEAH MALTLIQUORFANS!

I am a new member of the group and an avid malt liquor drinker, I am wondering if anyone else is experiencing a increase in the price of malt liquor in your area? A 22 ounce cost 1.25 and a 40 ounce cost 1.99 but now I am paying 1.50 for a 22 ounce and 2.50 for a 40 ounce, I always drink St. Ides and have noticed this price inceases in the last month.

tonight should be a good one. should have lots of fun playing my game, talking with fellow 3FJ... but what to drink?on the one hand, OE is always perfect. the only problem is it leaves me wanting a little more. so do i get a lucky force 10? for those who are not familiar with it, it is a 40 of strong 10% beer. the dilemma is that i do not know if that feeling of wanting more is me wanting more alcohol, or me wanting to be more drunk.olde english is 5.50,luckyforce10is5.50, lucky force 10 is 5.50,luckyforce10is6.80. i have not drank for awhile because of work, so i feel that it would be ok to spoil myself. but not too much.maybe an olde enlgish and something for two bucks, just to have some more liquid after the OE. geez i do not know. i guess it will have to be a gametime desicion when i get into the beer store...no no...malt liquor store.maybe i will save some time standing around in there looking at each bottle on the wall and just check out their website.ill let you know how it turns out

[ mood \| fine ] well..tonight i had the beaut...the OElast night i had the best strong beer there is.. it is from holland and it is 8.6% yet it feels like a lot less. and such a unique wonderful taste, if only people knew that there was more than canaidan coors blue bud.the 8.6er is called bavarian, it comes in a nifty 650ml bottle. it has got a cap that must be opened with a bottle opener which is always a plus, and it has this cool nipple on the back side of the shoulder, fun to play with.i guess i should tell my malt liquor store story that happened yesterday, since it would be perfect for this forum, but maybe another day. its too long for right now.k
