Schools must fight social injustice and racism. Teachers should pursue classroom-based research that investigates the social construction of knowledge and classroom culture.(28 references)(MLH)

Guevarian leadership is articulated within an historical materialist framework in an attempt to present a model of educational leadership that can address the resistance to and transformation of global capitalist social relations and the IMF/World Bank consortia of finance capital.
