Therefore, Knowledge Management Systems (KMSs) are used in organisations to share, utilise, and integrate knowledge. Organisational culture (OC) is an important factor and needs to be considered in Knowledge Sharing (KS), although it can foster sharing and collaboration, it must be handled sensitively with respect to the natural resistance of people and the existing culture toward change inside organisations. This paper seeks to explore how organisational culture can facilitate knowledge sharing by using KMSs in MNCs. Based on 42 semi-structured interviews, MNCs are recommended to consider OC as a significant factor that affects KMSs usage and KS. They are also advised to create a favourable environment or OC to enable employees in all branches and at all levels to utilise their knowledge resources by using KMSs in KS which will help managers to identify new ways supporting and facilita...

Such an analysis can evaluate both the short term and long term efficacy of various candidate countermeasures. The expected utility scores of a countermeasure strategy captures the expected impact of the policies on health outcomes and other measures of population well-being. The broad methodologies we use here have been established for some time. However, this application has many unusual elements to it: the pervasive uncertainty of the science; the necessary dynamic shifts between states within each candidate suite of countermeasures; the fast moving stochastic development of the underlying threat all present new challenges to this domain. We incorporate these within our framework. Further, we demonstrate our framework through an example where we evaluate several strategies by considering shortand long-term att...

For this purpose, MNCs use Knowledge Management Systems (KMSs) to share, utilise, and integrate knowledge. This paper seeks to explore how knowledge sharing takes place through the use of KMSs in MNCs. Based on 42 semi-structured interviews, main themes underlying knowledge sharing were identified and summarised in a more holistic conceptual framework. First, Knowledge Management Systems includes three sub-themes: Technology Acceptance, Communication Tools, and KMS Usage. Second, Knowledge Sharing Practices includes the following sub-themes: Content, Willingness to Share and External Factors. The paper clarifies the existing literature on KMSs and KS by proposing a holistic conceptual framework which will help managers to identify ways of in...
