Written for: My Muses are weird. Don't ask me. Summary: A stray dog follows Jayne back to Serenity, but before they get there, a group of thugs tries to mug Jayne. Things get a mite ugly... Notes: The title comes from the legend of Chinese Fu Dogs, which were powerful, mythic guardians and protectors of homes and holy sites. The female was generally shown with her paw resting on a cub, as a symbol of protecting those who were inside the structures.
