Hey guys, just me again. I have access to a Windows PC now so I re-downloaded Maple tonight but am waiting to see if I can make some friends before choosing a server. I used to play a few years ago but it was just the 4-5 classes, none of this new shit but I'm not a total dumbass at Maple, just re-learning some stuff. Don't think you have to walk me through the entire game, but it would be nice to play with some people from LJ & the community, if not I'm sure I can make friends in game but I don't know what server to hop on & I know how everyone loooooves to talk to level 10ers, haha! I'm sure there are even more tards on now then before, & I'm ready for them!
So hit me up if you want to make a friend & I'll put a new char on your server!

In more ways than one, lol, since I basically never use LJ for anything any more.
Anyway, after being away from the game for something like 3 or 4 years, I've decided to come back. I've been playing for about 4 days, and aside of a little confusion about all of the new stuff, I've been doing fairly well. I've picked up my old character, LordLeto, and managed through some miracle to level from 52 to 76 in the past 4 and a half days. I play on the Scania server, and obviously LordLeto (A level 76 Crusader) is my main, and I have a 40-something Cleric named IY0TEN. Anybody wanna play with an old player? =3

I completed the "Cap Crusher" challenge, but because I didn't have any room in my equip tab for the medal, I didn't actually get it, even though it said I did. It's even shown up in my list of obtained medals, despite not actually being in my inventory.
This has never happened to me before. Only once before could I not receive a medal due to full inventory, and it automatically appeared after I made room, but not this time. Is there a way to recover lost medals, or have I blown my only chance at getting this one?
Okay so. I just came back to MapleStory after a hiatus. Since my break there's been the Big Bang, the onset of Chaos, etc. And since I came back, my tiny guild made by friends has been abandoned. In fact, the friends I played with moved on from the game entirely, leaving me alone.
So two questions. First, I'd like to find a nice guild on my world. So does anyone know of any mature but fun guilds on Kradia? The world itself doesn't seem real fun but it's what we randomly started on, and I have quite a few characters on there. Second question would be, if no one has any recommendations for Kradia, does anyone have any for any other world? I'm willing to try a new server if it's better than Kradia and has a good guild for me to play in.

Hey all!
I had been playing other games when Maplestory's Big Bang happened, but for some reason I decided to re-download the game to the Windows XP partition of my Mac yesterday. No clue why. I have a Windows 7 machine in the house, but the game doesn't even play nice with Vista much less Windows 7... which is odd to say the least. I mean it works, but I hate that compatibility popup.
Does anyone play on El Nido at all? I figured I'd just hit a newer server and ditch my old stuff since I didn't get as far as some anyhow.
I'm planning on making a Wild Hunter
Cleric, and then the Thunder Cygnus Knight, and then possibly a UA Spearman-Dark Knight thing if I get that far.
Looking forward to the easier leveling, but it's sort of fun even being lost seeing as I haven't played since waaaaay before Pirates came out.

Hey everyone!
LiveJournal wants us to have community owner elections. Only current maintainers can vote, but I have no idea who the most appropriate person to vote for would be! Of the current maintainers, who do you think would make the most sense as "owner" of the community.
In other news, I miss maple and would make my grand return like so many others in this community have already, except for some reason the game just won't run on my computer anymore T_____T

I recently started a new character on Bera, and my girlfriend and I want to fight Astaroth, but we need at least one more party member in order to do so. So we were wondering if anyone would like to join us. Our current party consists of a mechanic (me) and a bandit (her), both level 37. If you're interested and you play on the Bera server, please post your IGN and what time you're usually on. We're usually on all day during the weekends, so any time's fine with us! A warrior and/or cleric would be especially appreciated!

Probably a super noob question, but the Big Bang seems to have made most of the quest tutorials/guides/whatever out there inaccurate.
Does anyone know where I can find Chury (NPC) in Omega Sector? He used to be in the Silo pre-Big Bang, but although the quest still says to look for him there, I CAN'T FIND HIM! DX
I've gone up and down the Silo countless numbers of time thinking I was just blind and didn't see him, but now I'm sure he's not in there (unless there's some extension on the map I'm missing).
There are a couple of other Omega Sector NPCs I can't seem to find as well. Are they on some map I haven't located yet?
I'm pretty much done re-doing all the Omega Sector quests since they got reset, but the one from Dr. Kim that requires going to the NPCs starting with Chury, I can't seem to get past this first step. I'd be super grateful if someone can help me with this. It's starting to drive me absolutely nuts now. DX
In case anyone's curious (doubt it), I've been playing on my Fire Mage lately (currently lvl 77) on Bera. Not going to leave my char name cause I'm a total social recluse on MS and prefer to play solo. DX <-useless habit for playing a MMO.
