I am a bit worried about food for my children right now. I was just wondering if this sounds about right for a 4and 5 year old to be eating.
get up: glass of water and piece of freash fruit
breakfast: cereal or porridge, glass of semi skimmed milk, sometimes fruit
Snack at school : semi skimmed milk, fruit
lunch: Sandwich on wholegrain bread, ham, cheese,tuna, chicken something like that, yoghurt, juice, raisins, carrots sticks,fruit, sometimes a home made cake or home made biscuit.
snack at school: water and fruit
Home from school: fruit and drink, water milk or juice
dinner: jacket potato with tuna or spaghetti bolognese, Chicken pie and vegetables, vegetable chilli with brown rice, something like that all home made.
Once a week they have chip from the chip shop as by Friday we are all tired and just go to the chip shop.
Does that sound about right? They are very active and do lots of activities.
