So i'm lazy and could totally e-mail this to you, but....i can't be arsed :P

I have this idea, and you are free to shoot it down or whatever :P

It seems like I'm only going on one trip this year. To the UK in December (Birmingham Dec 9-11).

Since it is my only trip I want to make it a real trip and because i'm asking people to give me money for my birthday this year, I think I can make something out of it.

My somewhat crazy idea is to take about 2 weeks in the UK at that time.
Arrive on the 1st and then...possibly...come over to visit you on the 2nd and leave Jersey on the 5th
Then spend time with my niece (who is living in Sidcup) from when I leave Jersey until I'm thinking of going to Birmingham on the 8th
And then end the trip in London again...

So, what do you think?
I don't know if it is possible....if I have a job at that time, I might not be able to take all that time off
But it is an idea :P

'Cause I'm not going to the US and ogle Kate like some people I know... ;D

So, I've been looking for jobs, and you are like the third person that hears about this (roommate and Aunt H being the other two).

There was this ad for a job that I was sort of made for, the only snag being that I didn't have the experience needed in marketing.
I applied nonetheless, cause what do I have to lose, eh?
The job was for a tourism personality to market Iceland to foreigners - and since I'm all about getting people to come here, it is perfect.
The deadline isn't until Sunday, so there will be weeks before I know anything. I just hope they do me the decency to call me in and talk to me in person, you know?

But I haven told you about the best thing about the job yet.
The person hired would have to move abroad to do this job...

( They would have to move here....Collapse )

Now let's hope they call me in and that the gods will be smiling upon me, eh?
