New here... Hello! New here.

I was raised on The Marx Brothers and have met depressingly few people who appreciate their brilliance.

Anyway, for any of you that didn't know, there's a documentary about the Marx Brothers available on Netflix. It's very good.

(pokes community) Wake up!

I found something interesting while on IMDB: Groucho was in an episode of I Dream of Jeannie... and the episode's actually on the site. XD

He's only in the last couple of seconds, but it's still awesome. :)

Hay! Those sketches posted earlier prompted me to look for the actual cartoons they're from. No luck with Fiddler's Three, but I was able to find these goodies:

And the actual cartoon Mickey's Polo Team! The quality is surprisingly good, although Harpo's cartoon form seriously creeps me out, esp when he pulls out the flame thrower(???)

DL here!

So who caught the the Marx Brothers joke on Bill Shatner's roast?

They were introducing Betty White, now in her 80's, and said "The next guest is the only one on this stage who has f***ed all four of the Marx Brothers. And she was so good, Harpo spoke."

O'course, I happened to be drinking a soda, and half of it ended up on the monitor.

Harpo in Love Happy Hello all.

I'm writing a dissertation on Hollywood musicals and would love to get a bit of input on one matter.

What do you think Harpo is expressing in "Love Happy" when he plays "Old Folks at Home" ("Way down upon the Swanee River...") for Vera-Ellen? Go into as much detail as you want - I'm all ears.

Thanks so much!

Everything I Need to Know in Life.. So for a couple months I have been working on getting together a set of icons from this site which has a list of "Everything I need to know in life.." So I figured that it would be pretty cool to have those on icons because they totally rock and I hope the guy doesn't hate me for doing that. So that's what I did..and now I think I'm rambling and feel as if I can't spell anything right today so I'll just stop and show you the link..

And heck, I've just never seen this site before, so I'll link it for all you good people.
Movies-The Marx Brothers
It seems to be pretty comprehensive.
And all the audio files have been posted now ^_^' Someday when I'm not bogged with homework I should upload the "Minnie's Boys" soundtrack. It's not actually them singing, but it's alright.
OH!! That's right! We're all Marxists here, so I feel no qualms about sharing my deep dark secret OTR addiction with you all. As such, I present for your enjoyment YOU BET YOUR LIFE Starring Groucho Marx. I don't know if it's every episode but it's a darned lot of them at that O_O
I wish I could have lived back then... when people didn't know the capital of Iraq.
