Make My MMO: Fractured’s team is doubling in size thanks to what sounds like new investment (original) (raw)

You may recognize this design from your own tabletop history. Or something like it.

This week in crowdfunded MMOs, MMO sandbox Fractured explained why it’s not kept pace with its roadmap, but fortunately, it’s all good news: The game’s development team is doubling in size, thanks to what at least sounds like fresh investment into the game and the company.

Meanwhile, Dual Universe previewed its VFX, TitanReach previewed Glimmermore, Project Gorgon discussed ongoing development, Crowfall prepped for launch, and we heard from a Star Citizen whale. Read on for more on what’s been up with MMO crowdfunding over the last few weeks, plus our roundup of all the crowdfunded MMOs we’re following!

Please stop giving this game money

Yes, some crowdfunded MMOs most definitely do succeed. But others crash and burn, and you need to hear about the whole spectrum of games that sought your money early in exchange for the promise of input and transparency. And that’s exactly what Make My MMO does every Saturday. Help us keep ’em accountable, would ya?
