Farewell Matt!
Today, Matt was traded to the Oakland A's. It'll be weird now looking out in left field at Rockies games and NOT seeing our beloved Matty patrolling that left outfield corner.

I wish Matt the very best in Oakland and will go see him play @ Phoenix Municipal Stadium during Spring Training.

As for Dan O'Dowd, the Rockies' GM, he can go to hell for this trade!

Matt's jersey retired!
It was his high school jersey but still, that is quite an honor to have bestowed upon him.

Welcome Matt Fans!
I welcome all you Matt Holliday Fans out there in LJ Land...as I am a fan of Matt's myself, therefore I felt the urge to create a community about him :) With that being said, I encourage anyone to create a really awesome header & layout for our community, as I am not proficient enough with creating layouts like I can do on MySpace.
