Educational performance suffers from excessive burden, which reduces motivation, concentration, and memory. Students often experience high stress, which hinders their learning. The purpose of this study is to examine the possible application of Cognitive Load Theory (CLT) in reducing cognitive overload by incorporating music into the educational context. The study uses the Cognitive Load Theory (CLT) (Sweller, 2011) to examine how music can modulate cognitive processes like attention, memory, and motivation in education. The "Mozart Effect" (Campbell, 2001) and research on music and cognition show how music can improve educational experiences and reduce cognitive overload, especially in information-rich environments. This study utilized a qualitative research design to conduct a case study within a migrant learning center located on the Thai-Myanmar border. The findings aim to optimize educational methods by deliberately integrating music. These findings may help educators find new ways to improve learning environments, especially for migrant populations. Further research could explore how the insights gained from this case study can inform the refinement and enhancement of educational methodologies through the intentional integration of music.
