My Bio

I was born in Miltenberg (Lower Franconia - northwestern Bavaria) and grew up in a little village nearby.
I studied mechatronics and since 2/2011 I reside in Munich and work there as an engineer.
I've never been very creative but I decided to try something new and now I want to learn how to take good pictures and how to use gimp.
So what you see here is the result of ten days without work due to a surgery, so I had time to take some photos and to use gimp. I did this without any knowledge so i'm in a "learning-by-doing"-process and the results may be not as good as if I were tought by someone with knowledge. But I want it that way, I'm proud of every little _self-tought_ improvement. ;o)
I hope that, when I'm back working I am able to continue taking pictures and do post-processing with gimp allthough I'm most of the time very busy.

So feel free to tell me about mistakes I di,d or to give criticism about how I could improve my work.

Very extensive. Chiefly Metal, especially Deathmetal, but sometimes I listen to other genres, too. Amy MacDonald, The Prodigy, Johnny Cash, Dropkick Murphys and so on.

Hi, as I'm trying to move my data from commercial sites to own hosted solutions (at my own webspace on a german server) I'm moving my favorites to http://pics.mdosch.de . I'm going to publish new photos only there. You can still download them in full resolution and I'll continue publishing under CC BY-SA. So it's the same thing like here, but on a own website. I'm sorry for leaving this community, but I want to keep my data under control and so I discontinue using big commercial services, especially american ones. Best regards, Martin
