Hello. First time poster here.I've been following Metropolis fandom all the way since the beginning. Sites sprang up, the FF.net section grew, it lasted for maybe a couple years, then died down.But there are new fans, and maybe even some old fans. We are so few, usually we can’t even find each other to communicate in real time. That is why I still keep my Metropolis fan site up (http://www.metropolis.otaku.ru, Russian only) with the notice that I’m still there, no matter how long the thing hasn’t been updated.I’d like to thank xreddestinyx for this community. Even though posting here is sort of like sending a time capsule, perhaps someone else comes across it in another few months and finds they are not alone.On another note, there are at least two Metropolis fans in the Russian-speaking part of LiveJournal at the moment.And yes, kirill_12 is absolutely right about this page’s background needing to be changed.
[ **mood** | cheerful ] I am new to this seemingly dead community and thought I would share a few thoughts.First of all the background needs to be changed. I can hardly read the text, in fact I must high-light it to do so. Believe me, I am no professional at making websites or dong stuff on LJ but if you want to attract more people than this must be done. Also remove the image of Tima and the bird set on tile, it looks pitiful. A more plain 'ol blah uni color background will work or even perhaps an image [a large one] who's colors do not clash with the text.Second of all I love Metropolis. Rented it twice and am about to buy it. I especially love Rock, such an interesting character.Hope my suggestions helped and hope this community grows like a weed developing in between two concrete slabs on a city sidewalk.
