The Problem & Opportunity

Climate change harms our health. Climate solutions make us healthier.

Climate change already causes more illnesses and deaths from heat waves, extreme weather events, wildfires, and increased air pollution, especially in low-income communities and communities of color. Climate action will rapidly deliver health benefits and create a stable climate future.

What We Do

We are growing our numbers, diversity, and power. We recognize our collective voice must represent the unique insights and life experiences of every community.

We make sure the health voice is heard when and where it matters. We advocate federally and support our State Network’s advocacy in states and local communities.

From air pollution regulations to building and transportation electrification to an improved food economy, we advocate for proposed climate policies that advance health and equity.
