Okay, there are two other free music things you should download, FOR SERIOUS:

1. If you have a facebook, go join the Apple Students Group, because they are offering a free Sub-Pop sampler (iTunes required, Mac or PC) and you get as a bonus track Patton Oswalt's rant on KFC bowls which has me in stitches. STITCHES.

2. The peeps at adult swim have put together an AMAZING mix called "Warm and Scratchy" which is free to download here. [AUTOPLAY WARNING! If you can't blast music at the moment, mute your compy before you click, k?]

It features artists like TV on the Radio, The Rapture, Asobi Seksu, Broken Social Scene, The Raveonettes, The Good the Bad and the Queen, etc.
