Holy crap am I going to be broke this month. February is an awful, awful month: a whole week of not working during CNY, and I had to take two sick days.
*brief panic*
...on closer inspection, it might not be so bad? It'll be doable. But I foresee a lot of cup noodles for dinner.
I saw Jumper last night; I knew about ten minutes in that I wasn't going to like it. I'm a pretty uncritical movie watcher--keep me entertained, or pander to my tastes, and most of the time I'll pay no notice to the man behind the curtain. But Jumper isn't even a movie--it's a sequence of frenetic, seizure-inducing fight scenes, interspersed with chase scenes, loosely stuck together with a smattering of plot elements that could have been interesting, which is the most frustrating part. And I still might have been entertained had I liked even a single character; but no.
After seeing the ads in the theater, though, I really want to see The Forbidden Kingdom. It looks insanely pretty.
Day 6 of 7, by the way. Assuming successful completion, I may decide to extend this daily thing for another week!
