Mar. 27th, 2009 @ 02:30 pm Its been some timeTags:bbb I mostly came here to tell people local to Cincinnati how terrible The Flying Pizza is in Loveland...I wrote this for the better business bureau."I went to this facility after a co-worker picked it for a going away lunch. I arrived after everyone had ordered so I had no idea what the costs were going to be. After we were done eating we go to pay. I thought the food was okay until I heard the final cost of only two pizzas. Again I had no idea what was in store for me cost wise as the rest of the group had already ordered and prior we had agreed to pay for our co-worker's final lunch. The final price was nearly 50forwhatI′dconsideranomorethan50 for what I'd consider a no more than 50forwhatI′dconsideranomorethan1 a slice piece of pizza. I grumbled but since I had already agreed we split the costs and I got in line to pay. The cashier at the place then complains about me paying with Visa card. How is that customer oriented at all? A small business like that should be happy I am eating there period. I want this experience to be a warning to other patrons. I have never said this before, but for the first time I would not be upset if a major chain put this small business out to pasture. Good bye and good riddance."It has been so long since I have posted I hope that everyone who used to read my mindless ramblings are doing really well. I'm pretty sure my last post was in 2006 or 2007 and so much has changed. I hope all the changes everyone else has been going through have been positive. I hope the terrible economy has not turned on any of you. Peace.About this Entry2 commentsLeave a commentPermanent Link
May. 8th, 2007 @ 11:21 am Lollerskates!Current Location: Winton Hill, Ohio Current Music: Office noises, goons talking ( I want to play this Wii Game!Collapse )HEY KIDS! How goes the daily grind for everyone else? Like you'll comment anyways. I had a fun weekend, caught Spiderman 3. It could have been better. I mentioned my promotion on myspace, but not sure if I put it here. I got promoted _*golf clap*_. I'm at the new job and its a little lacking to be honest. Either way, I was promised a raise and my bosses aren't making good on said promise, so I'm also looking for another job as you read my ramble. Otherwise, god save the queen.About this Entry4 commentsLeave a commentPermanent Link
Apr. 26th, 2007 @ 04:30 pm We each said... OK..Current Location: WORK!!!! Current Mood: tired Hello you crazy diamonds. Long time no post I know. Life is same old, diff day. I am currently working at Pomeroy and man is it the PITTS... I am making way less than I should for my education level in Ohio. Of course, these numbers were provided off some random website, so who knows. Still playing WoW. I enjoy it divinely. Though I doubt I will have as much time for that soon because I fully intend to get off my lazy ass and get my A+ and my CCNA certifications. I need to be making somewhere in the 50k area. I know young kids are notorious for wanting everything handed to them, but not making the average... or even worse, making the same amount of money as someone with ZERO degree is absolutely killing me.Either way, I hope life is fuckin' sweet for all you out there in LJ land and hopefully I can make some more updates some time.About this Entry1 commentLeave a commentPermanent Link
Jan. 19th, 2007 @ 09:29 am Baby... BABY... PIRATE!?Current Location: P&G General Office Current Mood: dorky Snowing in Cincinnati today. Its pecker snow though, just enough snow to be cold and annoying. I'm likely to hit up some lunch action from the back section with Phillip Matre today in the nasty 'Nati. WoW Burning Crusade is sex. I'm close to lvl 62 w/ Vend and its going to be hot pwnz action soon. I'll likely throw a lot of my weekend away on WoW. I have some catching up to do seeing as how our server already has a lvl 68 on it. I wish I had no life sometimes. In other news married life is decent. A little excited about getting a new place with Michelle as much as I'll miss the current life style. Huddled in a small apartment with a rag tag band of goons I call friends, or maybe family, if you're into that gay heart felt bullshit. Tomorrow is Saturday, group lunch day. I wonder what we'll have. I wonder what I'll even have for lunch today. Always remember, Pirates are wild.About this EntryLeave a commentPermanent Link
Jan. 17th, 2007 @ 10:27 am WoW update, and hilariousnessCurrent Location: Cincinnati, Ohio Current Mood: tired OMFG WoW Burning Crusade > you. This whole new world of garbage I haven't even tangled with is a beautiful situation in which I play WoW and no longer raid like a job, but have fun once again. I'm excited to play my Blood Elf after I get Vendilir (hard-ass rogue) and Nuraku (sensible warlock) to 70. Together my two characters are the original odd couple. I once heard that if you played WoW once, and then quit, that you're a little bitch. Other than WoW, life is pretty same old shit different day. I'll be shipping off to Massachusetts really soon to do more computer migrations. This job pays the bills, but I really want to get my hands on some Cisco equipment. Do some Network Administration. Why do people have goals when it's extremely unlikely that those goals will be met if they stay in Ohio? Your thoughts?**( Penny Arcade about my lifeCollapse )**About this Entry2 commentsLeave a commentPermanent Link
Jan. 12th, 2007 @ 09:05 am My Triumphant ReturnCurrent Location: LaGrange, GA Current Mood: anxious I have finished another stint in LaGrange, GA. What a small town, so small the stop signs say "Whoa!" for the horse drawn wagons. SEWPing computers is always a fun time. I do so enjoy working for P.I.T.S. NOT! Anyhow I am unsure what exactly my plans on return are. I assume when I get picked up by WIFE! We'll either go out boozing or catch the end of 24 Season 5. I am pretty confident I get Monday off for MLK Jr. Day. Not 100% sure though, still need to talk to The Baum, my boss. I hope everyone is having a good New Year. 2007 hopefully will destroy 2006 in awesome paychecks and even better times. I'm likely to start pursuing some certifications, namely Cisco. I'm unsure if I want to be in I.T. all my life, but its paying the bills currently. I think it would benefit my career, should I stay in I.T. to move out of Ohio. Who knows though. Peace.About this Entry1 commentLeave a commentPermanent Link
Jan. 10th, 2007 @ 10:18 am RevivalCurrent Location: LaGrange, GA Current Mood: rushed Hay hay hay! How goes it party LJers. Its been a long time since I've posted, I know, but its been chaotic in my life with change consistently afoot. The positive thing about not posting in LJ on a daily basis is that I actually might have something new and exciting to say. I wouldn't hold your breath.Still WoWing out from time to time, but have taken a massive break due to BC's upcoming release. Lvl 60 Rogue and Warlock ftw. Lvl 70 soon to come.Got a new job, likely the last time I posted I was working for The University of Cincinnati. That's changed. I now work for Pomeroy I.T. Solutions, no acronyms please. Here I do the same thing over and over on a daily basis... repetition ftw.About this Entry5 commentsLeave a commentPermanent Link
Mar. 17th, 2006 @ 12:13 pm (no subject)Current Mood: good HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY EVERYONE!!!I hope everyone has a great day. It has been a hectic couple of weeks at work, but it's cool. I'll be done with my associate in Computer Network Engineering Technologies in a mere 4 weeks. That means I have to start looking for a real job! ACK! I have been pretty tired these last couple of weeks as well, but that was easily remedied with a serious night of sleep last night, and after I get drunk tonight, a serious night of sleep until noon or more tomorrow. Life seems ok right now, so you know that something crazy has to take place soon to give it that all stressed out feel again. I hope its not the job search. I want that to go easy as pie. mmmm, pie.About this Entry2 commentsLeave a commentPermanent Link
