Geeeeez! So it looks like life finally caught up to everyone.Nevertheless, everyone needs to go pick up the debut album by American/German Death Metallers, DEATHEVOKATION. It's called Chalice of Ages and is simply one of the best OG Death Metal albums I've heard in years.Official Website: DeatheVokatioN.They have many similarities and influences such as Asphyx, Unleashed, Bolt Thrower, Dismember, etc.They also recently performed at NRW Deathfest in Germany.

[ mood \| bored ] So how was this year for everyone in terms of metal goodness? I enjoyed some great releases from Amon Amarth, To-Mera, The Sword, Axamenta and Suffocation. I also found some truly amazing shit this year I'd never heard before, like Windir, Vader, Ghoul, Asmegin, Moonsorrow, Metal Church, and Destroyer 666. I heard Agallochs new album was pretty good, haven't listened to it yet though. Oh right, Canopys album was pretty fucking great too. Good job crast ya brutal bastard.All in all, a pretty solid year for metal I'd say. How about you fuckers?

bored ] So how was this year for everyone in terms of metal goodness? I enjoyed some great releases from Amon Amarth, To-Mera, The Sword, Axamenta and Suffocation.
