The study aims to examine relevant business intelligence (BI) factors contributing to the decisio... more The study aims to examine relevant business intelligence (BI) factors contributing to the decisions quality among Jordanian telecommunications companies. For this purpose, a questionnaire is developed and distributed to the middle and top management levels. 103 from different business departments who use BI tools in the process of decisions making. Utilizing the PLS-SEM for measurement validation and hypothesis testing, the results demonstrate significant impact on decision quality of all framework constructs. System quality found to be the most influential construct on decisions improvement. In the meantime, information quality and services quality were also significant predictors of decisions quality. The study presents several implications for telecommunication firms to adopt the critical influences of BI system, while organizations that have previously employed BI system can use the finding as a theoretical basis to prioritize the factors that improve decision making quality.

This is an empirical study of the direct relationship between knowledge management and organizati... more This is an empirical study of the direct relationship between knowledge management and organizational learning in the universities of Jordan, with the moderating effect of organizational culture on such relationship. The study collected data with the help of a questionnaire survey, whose copies were distributed to academics working in Jordanian universities. From the total 370 distributed copies of the survey questionnaire, 266 were retrieved and deemed valid to be analyzed. Data was thus analyzed with the help of Smart PLS (3.2.8), and based on the findings, there is significant effect of knowledge management on organizational learning, specifically knowledge dimensions of knowledge acquisition, knowledge conversion, knowledge application and knowledge protection. Moreover, the findings supported the positive moderating effect of organizational culture on the relationship between knowledge management and organizational learning. Based on the obtained findings, the study recommends that universities in Jordan stress on knowledge management when drawing up strategies to facilitate organizational learning. Also, organizational culture has to be developed and promoted in a way that strengthens the knowledge management-organizational learning relationship.

This study primarily aimed to investigate green innovation in the context of industrial firms in ... more This study primarily aimed to investigate green innovation in the context of industrial firms in Jordan, and to empirically examine the effects of knowledge sharing dimensions of knowledge donating, and knowledge collecting on green innovation. Accordingly, the data was collected through the use of a questionnaire survey distributed to 357 managers of industrial firms in Jordan, particularly those located in Zarqa City. From the 357 questionnaire surveys distributed, 190 were retrieved and deemed usable for analysis. The data analysis was conducted using IBM SPSS Statistics 20 and was based on the obtained findings; knowledge sharing has a positive and significant relationship with green innovation. However, the knowledge donating dimension of knowledge sharing was found to have an insignificant effect on green innovation. Based on these results, the researcher recommends that industrial firms in Jordan concentrate on the dimensions examined in this study, so that their green innovation culture is promoted, and green innovation practice is enhanced.

Objective: The present study investigates empirically the role of moderating effect of entrepreneurial orientation in relationship between organizational learning and innovative performance among Jordanian SMEs. Results: The results of this study showed that dimensions of organizational learning (information acquisition, and organizational memory) were found positively and significantly related to innovative performance. Unexpectedly, it showed that there is no relationship between information distribution, information interpretation and innovative performance In addition; this study did not support the effect of entrepreneurial orientation that moderate in relationship between organizational learning and innovative performance. Partial least squares-structural equation modeling technique had been applied to analyses the data. The findings showed that dimensions of IC (human capital and customer capital) were found positively and significantly related to IP. In addition, this study supports the effect of EO that moderate partially in relationship between IC and IP.

This study aimed to examine the influence of managerial innovation on firm performance in Jordani... more This study aimed to examine the influence of managerial innovation on firm performance in Jordanian Commercial Banks. The study conceptualized managerial innovation as consisting from three dimensions: management practices, management processes and organizational structures. The dependent variable of the study was firm performance which was assessed through an integrated approach that combined financial and non-financial indicators: profitability, market share, returns on investment, customer satisfaction and quality of services. Data was gathered by using a questionnaire survey. The questionnaire was distributed to a sample of 200 branches' managers from branches of Jordanian commercial banks. 135 usable questionnaires were returned. Multiple and simple regression analysis were used to analyses the data. The results illustrated that managerial innovation. The study found that managerial innovation has a positive influence on firm performance in Jordanian Commercial Banks. It also found that there is positive influence between management practices, management processes and organizational structures on firm performance in Jordanian Commercial Banks. The study found that management processes dimension has the strongest influence on firm performance. Conclusion and recommendation were provided.

Data was gathered by using a questionnaire survey. The questionnaire was distributed to a sample of 600 managers / owners from Jordanian SMEs. 325 usable questionnaires were returned. PLS SEM technique had been applied to analyses the data. The findings showed that intellectual capital (human capital and customer capital dimensions) were found positively and significantly related to innovative performance. In addition, organizational learning (information acquisition, information distribution and organizational memory dimensions) also, were found positively and significantly related to innovative performance. The current findings showed that structural capital and information interpretation were not factors that could influence to innovative performance.

The aim of this study is to understand the effects of implementing a Just-In-Time production syst... more The aim of this study is to understand the effects of implementing a Just-In-Time production system on a company's performance on garment manufacturing companies in Jordan. The entire workforce of MAS Kreeda Al-Safi Company in Jordan made up the study population of (3800) employees. A questionnaire was developed as a tool for gathering data from a sample of (350) employees for a study that used the descriptive correlational technique. For the statistical analysis, SPSS software was employed. The results indicated that JIT system and its components (material flow, JIT commitment, and supply management) had achieved a high level. While the company performance was high across all of its dimensions, including operating performance, operating cost, and product quality. Additionally, the findings of study showed a statistically significant relationship between the JIT system and firm performance. The study recommended, firms should be to pursue the adoption of JIT technology (because of its significant role in reducing production costs). In addition, forsaking conventional production methods due to its inability to compete with businesses in the marketplace.

The study used the descriptive analytical approach using the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) program to analyze the data collected from the study population, which consisted of employees of the Jordan Customs that working in various centers and directorates of the Department, who participated in this study. (420) is the sample of study who participated from different organizational levels, only (365) questionnaires were retrieved with a recovery rate of (87%). After the analysis of the study that found a set of results, the most important of which is that digital transformation has a positive, statistically significant impact in its four dimensions (strategy, organizational culture, transformational leadership, and human resources) in achieving strategic agility in Jordan Customs. The study recommended increasing attention to training workers and raising their capabilities to deal with digital transformation positively and improve services, in addition to increasing employee participation in expressing their views when preparing the department's vision, which contributes to motivating employees to achieve the vision, to raise the level of strategic agility.

The purpose of this research was to evaluate the impact of entrepreneurial orientation (EO) in th... more The purpose of this research was to evaluate the impact of entrepreneurial orientation (EO) in the setting of Jordanian SMEs, and to empirically examine the relationship between entrepreneurial orientation (EO) and its dimensions, namely innovativeness, risk-taking, and proactiveness, and innovative performance. As a result, data were gathered through a questionnaire survey given to 361 managers/owners of SMEs in Jordan, with a specific emphasis on those based in Zarqa city. 221 questionnaire surveys were recovered and declared suitable for analysis out of the 361 disseminated. IBM SPSS Statistics 22 was used in analysis of the data. The findings indicate that entrepreneurial orientation does have a significantly positive link with innovative performance. However, the entrepreneurial orientation aspects of innovativeness, risk-taking, and proactiveness were shown to have a negligible influence on innovative performance. According to these findings, the researcher suggests that Jordanian SMEs prioritize the entrepreneurial orientation aspects explored in this study in order to strengthen their entrepreneurial culture and innovative performance.

The aim of this study investigates empirically the relationship between intellectual capital, org... more The aim of this study investigates empirically the relationship between intellectual capital, organizational learning and innovative performance among Jordanian SMEs. Data was gathered by using a questionnaire survey. The questionnaire was distributed to a sample of 600 managers / owners from Jordanian SMEs. 325 usable questionnaires were returned. PLS SEM technique had been applied to analyses the data. The findings showed that intellectual capital (human capital and customer capital dimensions) were found positively and significantly related to innovative performance. In addition, organizational learning (information acquisition, information distribution and organizational memory dimensions) also, were found positively and significantly related to innovative performance. The current findings showed that structural capital and information interpretation were not factors that could influence to innovative performance.

The aim of this study is to understand the effects of implementing a Just-In-Time production syst... more The aim of this study is to understand the effects of implementing a Just-In-Time production system on a company's performance on garment manufacturing companies in Jordan. The entire workforce of MAS Kreeda Al-Safi Company in Jordan made up the study population of (3800) employees. A questionnaire was developed as a tool for gathering data from a sample of (350) employees for a study that used the descriptive correlational technique. For the statistical analysis, SPSS software was employed. The results indicated that JIT system and its components (material flow, JIT commitment, and supply management) had achieved a high level. While the company performance was high across all of its dimensions, including operating performance, operating cost, and product quality. Additionally, the findings of study showed a statistically significant relationship between the JIT system and firm performance. The study recommended, firms should be to pursue the adoption of JIT technology (because of its significant role in reducing production costs). In addition, forsaking conventional production methods due to its inability to compete with businesses in the marketplace.

The study used the descriptive analytical approach using the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) program to analyze the data collected from the study population, which consisted of employees of the Jordan Customs that working in various centers and directorates of the Department, who participated in this study. (420) is the sample of study who participated from different organizational levels, only (365) questionnaires were retrieved with a recovery rate of (87%). After the analysis of the study that found a set of results, the most important of which is that digital transformation has a positive, statistically significant impact in its four dimensions (strategy, organizational culture, transformational leadership, and human resources) in achieving strategic agility in Jordan Customs. The study recommended increasing attention to training workers and raising their capabilities to deal with digital transformation positively and improve services, in addition to increasing employee participation in expressing their views when preparing the department's vision, which contributes to motivating employees to achieve the vision, to raise the level of strategic agility.

The purpose of this research was to evaluate the impact of entrepreneurial orientation (EO) in th... more The purpose of this research was to evaluate the impact of entrepreneurial orientation (EO) in the setting of Jordanian SMEs, and to empirically examine the relationship between entrepreneurial orientation (EO) and its dimensions, namely innovativeness, risk-taking, and proactiveness, and innovative performance. As a result, data were gathered through a questionnaire survey given to 361 managers/owners of SMEs in Jordan, with a specific emphasis on those based in Zarqa city. 221 questionnaire surveys were recovered and declared suitable for analysis out of the 361 disseminated. IBM SPSS Statistics 22 was used in analysis of the data. The findings indicate that entrepreneurial orientation does have a significantly positive link with innovative performance. However, the entrepreneurial orientation aspects of innovativeness, risk-taking, and proactiveness were shown to have a negligible influence on innovative performance. According to these findings, the researcher suggests that Jordanian SMEs prioritize the entrepreneurial orientation aspects explored in this study in order to strengthen their entrepreneurial culture and innovative performance.
