Micropub is an open API standard that is used to create posts on one's own domain using third-party clients.

• This specification was originally developed by the IndieWeb community, and was formalized and standardized in the W3C Social Web Working Group between 2014 and 2018. After the conclusion of the Social Web Working Group, the spec was brought back into the IndieWeb community for further iteration and development.
