I'm going to go to Aaron Brother's on Saturday and grab an application since they're hiring seasonal people. I could use the extra money, and they provide health insurance (which I desperately need) for their employees.

I'm pleased to say that, since the Great Soup Debacle of 2010, Mom and I have not snipped at each other. Of course, she was gone most of the day, so...

yeah...

But I've felt kinda meh about things today. Whatever, Life. You're just a cereal anyway.

I ordered a book on Amazon called 'Aspergirls: Empowering females with Asperger Syndrome.' It arrived yesterday and I love it. I had read the first couple chapters already, cause my coworker handed me the library's copy on Sunday. After the Forward, Introduction, and first two pages of Chapter One, I decided that I needed my own copy so I could highlight things and makes notes of the "OMG THIS IS SO TRUE" and "THIS IS TOTALLY HOW I FEEL" variety.

Today I spent several hours working on the Daniel!sketch. I have now finished the 'Gate and I only have the Focal Point!Daniel and "Daniel Jackson made this place happen" left to finish. Which is what I plan to do with the rest of my Saturday when I get back from Aaron Brother's.

I almost don't want to give the sketch to Michael, cause I'm really starting to get attached to it. >.< But I'll give it to him anyway, because he deserves it for being awesome and amazing and wining at life.

Also, I kind of want to sketch a Carson Beckett one for Paul as a thank you for his kindness to me at Dragon*Con. (So, if anyone on my f list has any fairly good quality pics of Carson... *shifty*)

At this rate I'll end up making a sketch for everyone involved with Stargate. XP

Anywho...

I should maybe go to bed so I have sufficient time to get this blah/meh out of my system before I absolutely have to be asleep.... in ten minutes.... *facepalm*
