I finished my pirate costume yesterday afternoon, then I had to clean all the sewing stuff out of my room. My friend Amy came over around 6-ish and Colleen arrived shortly after (after I taped a Jolley Roger in the back window of the van). We headed out to Red Robin for dinner. It was tasty. When we got back, I outfitted us in pirate gear while we watched Pirates 2 (I myself was Jack Sparrow).
We left for the theatre around 10:30 to see the midnight showing of Pirates 3. Stood in line forEVER. I saw a bunch of my friends from school. This one random girl came over to me and said "this is going to sound like an odd question, but can I get my picture taken with you?" So I had my picture taken and Colleen thought that I would make great promotional material.
Then they let us into the theatre. Colleen and this really cute guy entertained us for awhile with pirate jokes. What's a pirate's favorite breakfast drink? Arrrrrnge juice.
I got up in front of the theatre and asked "Do you have the courage and fortitude follow orders and stay true in the face of danger and almost certain death?"
I love Pirates fans.
After I dropped Colleen off at home, Amy and I came back to change. She had to go because her parents were going to wake her up at 7:30. Which is STUPID since she was just out until after 4.
My dad got up to call in to work and say he couldn't make it in because his back hurt. He started feeling funny so he went into the bathroom to check his blood sugar to see if it was low. It was 230. which is a little high.
He started to complain about being dizzy, so I asked him if he needed water, or if he thought he should sit on the floor.
Then he just fell over facedown into the tub. It was the scarriest thing ever.
I ran and got mom and she had me call 911.
The paramedics came and made sure he was feeling a little better before taking him to the hospital.
We didn't get back home until after 6.
I'm quite satisfied to not have anything at all happen today.
