Mirabile Taxidermy (original) (raw)

Tom became fascinated by the art of taxidermy at the age of 15 after visiting the trophy room of a local avid hunter.

Shortly after, he ordered a Taxidermy Correspondence Course from the JW Elwood Northwestern School of Taxidermy and began to hone his skills. He started with birds, then fish progressing into North American & African Game. At this point his daughter Amanda stated he had achieved "arts & crafts, expert level".

Over the past 30 years Tom has been committed to continuous self-learning of evolving techniques in Taxidermy and has continued his education with several world-champion taxidermists across the country.

Tom focuses on the individuality of each animal as he works to give his clients a quality, lifelike mount to help re-live their trophy hunt for years to come.

Tom has work on display at Great Valley Nature Center, Green Lane Nature Center, Delaware Nature Center and the homes of thousands of trophy hunters across the country.
