Hello darlings
I realized we haven't really used this (which makes sense since we all live a few feet from each others doors). But anyhoo, I know a bunch of us had mentioned it, but we should actually plan this shit: let's go away on a weekend trip to somewhere (I think NH, Vermont, Maine, upstate NY, etc were mentioned) soon, while the leaves are still turning.

Oh, also I was thinking maybe we could make a little list of things we'd like to pick up when people go home on October break:

-some small shelves for the dvds and over flowing childrens books in the living room?
-cupcake pan?
-would you guys be interested in me bringing back my keyboard?
-damnit I can't remember anything else

since tomorrow is the big day, (I can't wait to see you all! I'm tired of being alone =) ), I figured I'd just do a quick check of things that might be nice to have that I can't remember if anyone said they were bringing.

-the couches and chair, while plentiful, are both ugly and more importantly are rather sketch, so if anyone wants to bring something to cover them that'd be super 'cause they're a bit unpleasant to sit on with their scratchy upholstry and unknown history.
-while it'll be plenty easy to buy some when everyone is here, there's no hand or dish soap at the moment

um...that's all I can think of. *hugs to all*

Hello everyone!

As most of you know, Kitty now currently resides in 75. I (Wendy) was up there for a few days and so if anyone has any questions, just ask.

Some notes:

-It's pretty ugly. It desperately needs a paint job. Kitty was going to go to the house office sometime today to ask if we can paint it. Not the entire thing, mostly just the nasty teal trim that has disintegrated down to the wood. But I doubt they'll let us, even though it would benefit everyone and we've volunteered to do the work.
-There are no mirrors in any of the rooms. Unless you are vain like Alex, cuz his room's got one.
-There are no mirrors in the bathrooms. (2 full, one half) But there are gigantic mirrors and sinks are outside of the bathroom in the hallway.
-There are a few couches and a few armchairs. All are pretty uncomfortable (not too bad though) and UGLY. I don't think we need anymore, we probably don't have the space for them (there's not a lot of common room space). But this is probably something we'll figure out when we all arrive. There is plenty of space in the lofts though.
-Kitty (Alexis actually) made a list of things that we might possibly need. I'll leave it up to her (since I'm currently in CT to relay that to us to see if anyone has something on the list to bring, if not we can just forage when we get there)
-All the rooms are pretty nice, and not too disgusting. Reminds me of Merrill. [The lofts are ginormous]
-All of the internet jacks are in the downstairs part of the loft. So if anyone in the lofts wants to put their computers upstairs then they're probably going to need an extra long ethernet cable.
-No closets (which everyone probably knows), just 3 drawer dresser things, and a separate hangy thing in various places in various rooms. (that was descriptive)
-Kinda smells. People came to steam clean the floors (to get the smoke smell out). But it still kinda smells.
-There are shelves well, rectangle cubicle like shelves mounted to the walls in all the rooms. Plus all the standard desk materials. (Two bookshelves and a set of three drawers)

I have a chair and some extra (really really cheap shelves) that I probably will not use, but I'm planning on bringing them in case anyone wants to use them. And I'm assuming a leather chair is totally unacceptable. (At least I think it's real leather :/)

Ok, so I think that's it for now. Kitty, do you have anything to add? Anyone have any questions? Sorry if this was confusing at all.

Do we know what's happening with the Linda Mollison situation?
