In this article, it has been tried to analyze the mental satisfaction of the quality of life in d... more In this article, it has been tried to analyze the mental satisfaction of the quality of life in different regions in terms of objective development. For this purpose, districts no. 3, 6, and 9 of Mashhad city which through the measures of education, income, and employment were respectively among the deprived, the average, and the privileged regions were selected as the case study areas. Moreover, to measure the mental satisfaction of the local people of the quality of life, a questionnaire considering three basic dimensions of quality of life, i.e. economic, environmental, and physical sustainability (residential environment, the quality of these infrastructures) was designed. The sample size equals 385 people who according to the population of study area were divided into clusters. The research findings showed that there is little or no significant difference between these districts in terms of the desired measures, so that in terms of economic issues, the district no. 9 had a better condition than the other two. There was no significant difference between the districts no. 3 and 9. Regarding satisfaction of the quality of housing and infrastructure, the inhabitants in the district no. 6 showed less satisfaction than others. In this regard, no significant difference was observed between the districts no. 3 and 6; however, regarding satisfaction of the environmental situation, there was a significant difference between the districts no. 3 and 9, whereas the district no. 6 was an exception. Generally, the district no. 9 in Mashhad has a better condition in terms of objective development, social status, and quality of mental life. In contrast, regarding these indices, the district no. 3 is among the poorest regions, so in terms of quality of mental life is in a average state. Yet, the district no. 6 due to its development and the middle social status has a less unfavorable condition in terms of the quality of life.

Today, tourism and sport enjoy a complementary interrelationship directly affecting the nations` ... more Today, tourism and sport enjoy a complementary interrelationship directly affecting the nations` economy. Also, sport tourism is, nowadays, considered as the most lucrative industry worldwide. In addition, it may affect the all social strata economically and politically. Thus needless to say that much more attention should be directed to the industry through clear-cut policies, visions and constructive plans in this regard. To this end, In this paper, the authors investigate and offer guidelines for sport tourism development in Zanjan from economic, social and cultural perspectives .This is an applied research carried out as field study. The statistical sample is divided into 2 groups:1)Experts including physical education teachers, cultural heritage and physical education department employees and,2)Customers including different sportsmen/women traveling to Zanjan. The research tool is a 43 item researcher-made questionnaire in Likert scale whose reliability and validity were confirmed by a board of university professors. To process the data,we applied demographical as well as inferential statistics. The chi-square results revealed that there was a significant relationship between both experts and customers`perceptions about sport tourism development in Zanjan.

Natural disasters play a main role in human life. It should be taken into consideration that it i... more Natural disasters play a main role in human life. It should be taken into consideration that it is impossible to predict these disasters from happening, but preparation for a good response for these disasters can be a good solution to decrease post-damage casualties in the cities. Herein, Disaster Management Bases in terms of prevention, preparation and dealing with the crisis play a key role, especially in Tehran and in times of natural disasters. There is no doubt that a high level and efficient function of these bases has a striking correlation with the way they are located in both an urban and regional level in a way that in addition to providing security of the bases against disasters, based on the service area they could be able to provide good services for the areas of crisis. This paper tries to use Multi Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) techniques and spatial analysis method in order to assess the effectiveness of these bases. Based on assessments Disaster Management Bases have spontaneously distributed in Tehran and have located in inappropriate places. Thus using MCDM with GIS analysis, the best locations in case study area was proposed.

The present research tries to consider the mental imagery effect upon the reduction of athletes` ... more The present research tries to consider the mental imagery effect upon the reduction of athletes` anxiety during sport performance using documentary analysis method. We applied experimental method with pre-post tests and control group. The measuring tool was Ketle anxiety questionnaire (2009). Our statistical population was all tennis players in Zanjan (2010) of whom 25 were chosen as control and 25 as experimental group through Cohen sampling table We applied descriptive and independent t-student, here. Finally, having considered the background and findings related to our topic, our results showed that the mental imagery shall considerably reduce the athletes `anxiety and improve their performance, specifically, if other psychological strategies like self-talk, relaxation and goalsetting are included and the related task is highly familiar to the individuals.
