I got a notice from LJ that this community would be deleted if I didn't post something new. So here's the obligatory new post. Also, I'm open to suggestions for books for a new read along.

Welcome to the community. We'll be jointly reading and discussing books here,beginning with Haruki Murakami's new novel 1Q84
The pace will be about three chapters a week, with relevant links and discussion questions posted each weekend. All posts for the week's chapters will be put under lj-cuts to avoid spoilers, but it should be understood that spoilers in comments responding to the relevant chapters are fine. Members also may wish to post links to relevant reviews or interviews for the novel.
In addition, feel free to make general posts about other modern books or writers that are of interest to you. Have fun! :)
