Google Search isn't really turning up much information. And I don't really know anyone with much experience on the matter.rI've had my nose piercing for three or four months now, but I recently got a new job, and had to change to a very small, unnoticable studwith really short notice, so since I needed it quick, and the local piercing parlor didn't have what I was looking for, I went to Clairs. First big mistake. I bought any old package without really putting much thought into what type it was. Second big mistake."Silver should never be worn in the nose during healing, because it oxidises inside the wound, and can cause allergic reactions, lumps, and can leave a permanent black mark on your nose." It was fine for a week or more, but the past few days, I developed a very large bump, and now have something the size of a small infant on my nose. I took out the stud three or four hours ago, but I'm away from home, and don't have anything to replace it with. I'm planning on going to a piercing parlor nearby and try to get my hands on something more hypoallergenic and safe, but I was wondering if it was a lost cause. "DON'T remove the jewellery from the piercing for more than 1 day for the first 6 months, or it will close up. " If it's infected, would the span of time be even less? I'm just wondering if I should bother trying to go through the trouble of getting something back in there, or just allow it to heal over. I really don't want to let it grow over, but I also don't feel like walking around with a bandaid over my nose, nelly style for the next few weeks.Any response would be greatly appreciated |

help? hey~ i just joined this community <3 my name is aurora, but i go by the name Psyence. i adore piercings <3 but sadly do not have very many >.o; i have my tongue pierced [ the the center towards the front ], my nose [left side ], lip [ middle <3 ], diath piercing [ right ear ], anti-tragus [ right ear ] 6 normal ear piercings and i had a belly button piercing [ right side ] and a handweb piercing [ left hand ] but both grew out ; . ; i don't have any tattoos, but i'm aiming to have at least one by the end of this year xDanyway! enough self obsession <3 i'd like to make a request, if that's okay? i don't know if i'm breaking any rules here, so tell me if i am <3i have just applied for both the anti-tragus and handweb official fanlistings [ if you don't know what a fanlisting is and want to know click here ] the only problem is that my camera is busted, so taking a picture of my own anti-tagus picture is out of the question and my handweb piercing no longer exists. so. i'd like to request a picture of both of these things. the picture needs to be big, so something that shows your whole face / hand so that i can edit it to make a layout for the fanlisting would be useful. you'll get credit on the site for having your picture on the layout btw. i hope this is okay :3 thank you so much to anyone who replies <3PSYENCE :: OUT Current Mood:  busy |

theres always a beginning most of my natal chart tattoo, also I have 8 piercings in my ears so far 4g,6g,10g,10g,14g,14g,16g,18g and my nipples are done both 14g. i plan on adding 6 more on my ears soon. they are all 14g to my knowledge. Ok, so my septum is peirced as of now. Thanks to whoever helped me out earlier with that one. I have a 16 guage clear curved barbell-type thing in it. I will get pictures and whatnot up here eventually, when it heals a bit more and I can change it to an actual ring.I was just wondering if anyone knew of any retainers that really didn't show AT ALL. The one that I have in it right now sort of falls down and you can see it once in awhile, which cannot happen. haha.Thanks in advance.<3 |
