The courseware developed for this study was named "Language Feast". 49 Form Two students from Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Agama Maahad Hamidiah, Kajang, Selangor were involved in the evaluation of the courseware. The evaluation procedures, which adopted the Mixed Methods Approach, are divided into three parts: a survey on students' and teachers' perceptions, a survey on the design of the courseware and tests on vocabulary. The survey on the perceptions of students and teachers revealed that the majority of them thought that cartoon videos are authentic teachings aids that can be used to teach and learn vocabulary. The findings from the survey justify the incorporation of a cartoon video clip and its script in the courseware as the main stimuli to promote thematically clustered vocabulary. The findings from the survey on the design of the courseware show that the students responded very positively to the design of the courseware "Language Feast", and were able to use it with ease and zest. As for vocabulary learning, the performance of the majority of the students shows positive improvements especially in Trial Session 1 (vocabulary in isolation) in comparison to Trial Session 2 (vocabulary in context). Therefore, the courseware affected the students' vocabulary achievement positively in Trial Sessions 1 and 2.
