He even said that something he had been concerned about last appt was just fine now! (He was concerned that Caelen's leg and arm muscles were a little tighter than they should have been.) The poor guy had to have shots, however. He was better than I am! lol! He cried just a little, but by the time the nurse was done and told me to pick him up, he was smiling and giggling at her! Whereas I almost cried and was snuggling the little guy going "Aw, my poor boogey! You're such a good boy!" etc etc. LOL!!!! Hi everyone! I wanted to introduce myself. My name is Emily, im 21 and i'm obviously a SAHM! My son Zachary is 3 weeks old today! He was born January 17th by c-section, and was a whopping 9lbs 11oz. He's my first and im loving being a mom so far. I've worked nonstop for the past 6 years so its wierd to just sit at home all day! But it is a lot of work as im sure you all know. Keeping a house clean, and a baby and kitten happy is very time consuming! My fiance, soon to be husband this upcoming monday, is a plumber and works long hours, from 5am-6pm every weekday and one weekend a month. i also live about an hour away from anyone i know so im pretty much alone up here and its good to connect with other sahm's. I've been home with the kids since Dagan and Dylan were 6 mo. old. So 6+ years were spent at home. Most of it I loved, if only for the experience I've gained through it. The only problem is, well, being at home limits the people one meets! I joined LJ last year for other interests, and thought, "Why not look to see if there are other SAH moms out there to get to know?"I'd love to meet other moms and discuss some of the problems and joy that comes with the territory.
