I love it.http://www.lemonland.net/?p=40 Link should take you to it.Current Mood: working(Leave a comment)February 27th, 2007touchofskin11:33 pm - Nothing Like GavinWell, I still can't believe this happened to me... but here's the evidence: After ten years I had the chance to meet him and was so excited and nervous that I couldn't talk to him.I just stared at him sitting on the stage signing cd's and tickets and talking to us as we were long-time friends.And I would have liked to tell him a million things, but my throat was dry.And I looked at him thinking – this is Gavin Friday sitting in front of me, so close.And I thought of all the things he's done so far and felt so lucky to be there.I wish I had been able to do as other fans did and tell him what he means to me, but I couldn't find the words. I had no courage to tell him he changed my life in a way.That he fills my heart with the strongest emotions, making me dream.That I admire his love for challenge.That he's uncomparable.I would have liked to sit with him in a pub and talk about literature, music, life.But I just stared at him, listening to his wonderful voice, looking into his deep-blue eyes, so full of passion.I would have hugged him to thank him for being so lovely with his fans.And wow! He was wearing his black suite and red shirt and wonderful jewelry... and, for those who might wonder, he's an attractive fragrance – something both spicy and sweet – and he looks even more beautiful than in pictures and videos.I dunno if you'll ever read this, anyway – THANK YOU GAVIN !!!And special thanks to: Falland, Vanessa, Kathy, Paul & wife and Caroline. One is a photo taken last week at the Irish Film and Television Awards, quite lovely. I didn't take any photos of the first night because I couldn't. I was too overwhelmed with the show. The second night, unfortunately, the lighting wasn't as good as the first for photography, but still I have some memories to share.There are fifty photos posted at my Flickr account. They begin HERE. Of the Friday Sort...The the 20th February 2005 Dutch television caught up with Gavin and Guggi to have a chat about Lypton Village and the Virgin Prunes. It's an interesting little piece and I've posted a link to the video at yousendit for download.Link ~> LYPTON VILLAGE/VIRGIN PRUNES on VPROAlso, on the 15th of December Gavin, with the Friday-Seezer Ensemble, did a performance at St. James Chruch in Dingle Ireland. It was filmed for Other Voices on RTÉ and broadcast in March 2005. The perfomance lasts about 40 minutes and is simply outstanding. Due to the length of the performance, I had to split the files for uploading to yousendit. There are three files and they can be joined with HJsplit once downloaded [a link is posted] to give you the entire show uninterrupted.
