I am a Bachelor of Arts graduate from Calgary, Alberta, having majored in Anthropology, and minored in Indigenous Studies and Peace & Conflict studies. Currently aspiring towards further studies in Anthropology and Indigenous studies at the graduate level.

My research interests include globalization, race and racism, power relations, decolonization, Indigenous studies, inter-generational trauma, cultural preservation, Métis studies, Ukrainian studies, peace and conflict, Second World War, the Holocaust, genocide, human-environment relations, folklore, kinship, neurodivergences, and more.

I have personal family connections to the Second World War, the Holocaust, The USSR, the Red River Settlement, and issues of Metis identity and Ukrainian identity, all of which are an influence upon my research interests.
