I am an Assistand Lecturer of music in the Department of Performing Arts and Film, Makerere University in Uganda. Currently, I am a PhD candidate of Ethnomusiclogy at the University of Melbourne. I am currently working on a research project on how the reinterpretation of sound recordings by urban youth in Kampala, Uganda, can be a model for accessing audiovisual archives in a diverse multicultural urban context.
