the ability of the muscle to deform. Hamstring tightness leads to high risk of recurrent injury, decreases the performance
in athletes, lead to post-exercise soreness and decreases coordination among athletes. Hence, the objectives
of this study was to find out the prevalence and severity of the hamstring tightness among college going student.
Method: In this cross sectional study 50 participants with hamstring tightness were included using purposive sampling.
The tightness was measured by AKE test. Three measurement were taken and average of their reading was
noted. Result: Analysis showed higher prevalence of hamstring tightness among college students. More students
were affected with AKE angle between 30o
-45o
. Conclusion: Prevalence of hamstring tightness is very high in college
going student of age group 18-25 years.

Hippocrates was one who described pelvic separation during labor. He said it remained so even after birth. Well-known spine specialists reported that SI joint dysfunction can be the main source of SI joint and low back pain. The purpose of study was to find out the age wise prevalence of sacroiliac joint dysfunction in females and to find the severity of sacroiliac joint dysfunction in primipara and multipara subjects.

of severe long-term pain and physical disability. Sugarcane workers are involved in heavy lifting, bending, cutting and twisting
activities. Our study objective was to find out the prevalence and identify most commonly affected body regions among sugar
cane worker.
Procedure: The Ethical clearance was obtained for the study from Institutional Ethical Committee of PDVVPF, COPT,
Ahmednagar. Written informed consent was obtained from all the subject fitting in inclusion criteria. Initially the demographic
data i.e Name, Age, Gender, Height, Weight & BMI was assessed and standardized Nordic questionnaire was filled up by every
participant.
Result: The descriptive statistical analysis of data (N=100, Workers, Males-57 & Females-43).The most commonly affected
body regions are low back pain(50%) & knee pain(29%).
Conclusion: The result shows that prevalence of MSDs is high in sugarcane workers. The highest prevalence of MSDs for the
last twelve months is on the low back & knee

Limited flexibility has been shown to predispose a person to several musculoskeletal overuse injuries and significantly affect a person’s level of function. The objective of our study was to find out the effect of mulligan BLR on hamstring tightness, to find out the effect of self MFR on hamstring tightness & Comparison of Mulligan BLR & self MFR on hamstring.

Procedure: 40 normal healthy subjects (20 in each group) fitting in inclusion criteria. They were divided in 2 groups by simple randomization method. Group A received single session of mulligan BLR Technique and Group B received single session of self MFR technique for hamstring tightness. Sit and reach flexibility tests were measured pre intervention and post intervention. Data was analyzed using paired and unpaired t-test.

Result: Shows that hamstring flexibility in mulligan BLR (17.2850) and self MFR (11.0492) increased immediately post-intervention y within the group but there was no significant (0.5877) difference on comparison between two groups.

Conclusion: The single intervention of Mulligan BLR and self MFR technique is equally effective in improving flexibility of hamstring.

Basically, back extensors play an important role in prevention and treatment of low back pain and are proven clinically with more credit to its endurance as compared to its strength. Thus, this study was done to assess the endurance of back extensors in normal individuals. Experimental study using simple random sampling. In this study Sorensen's test was assessed in twenty normal individuals. After applying t-pearson's test it was found that females (61.8±7.997) have higher back endurance than males (44.7±11.945). The purpose of this study was to compare three sensory and mixed NCS technique in mild CTS hands ... more The purpose of this study was to compare three sensory and mixed NCS technique in mild CTS hands and evaluate the percentage of abnormality when at least one of them was abnormal. This study is a simple randomized comparative experimental study. This study was carried out in the Electromyography laboratory (E.M.G Lab), Department of Neurosciences, College of Physiotherapy, PIMS, Loni. Carpal tunnel syndrome is the most commonest entrapment neuropathy. The carpal tunnel is bounded by carpal bones and transverse ligaments, which are attached to Scaphoid, Trapezoid and Hamate bones. The diameter of carpel tunnel is 2-2.5 cm and the median nerve passes through it along with 9 digital flexor tendons. Some degree of compression of median nerve and focal nerve conduction slowing is common at this level, which is more pronounced 2-3 cm distal to the origin of the ligament. Autopsy study has also confirmed focal abnormality in the median nerve in 5 out of 12 asymptomatic subjects.
