Please comment if you'd like me to friend you. If you don't comment and we haven't talked about friending each other elsewhere, I will almost certainly not friend you back. It's just common courtesy to introduce yourself.
If your life is better because:
- you get paid overtime
- you get paid days off
- you have insurance
- you make at least minimum wage
- you don't have to worry about your children having jobs
- you will get medical care if you are hurt at work
- you only work 5 days a week
- you have recourse if you are treated unfairly on the job
- you work in an environment with safety standards
THANK THE UNIONS
Seriously, people. Without unions, without the workers who fought and even died for our rights, we would live in a VERY different world. Even people who are not in unions benefit from the battles that they have fought, and continue to fight, for all of us.
Just did a fairly large cut. Mostly people who didn't seem very interested in my life and people who rarely update or have abandoned their journals. I have no hard feelings against anyone I cut and hope we can interact in the future in shared communities.
If you don't want to be cut, send me a private message. Otherwise, I wish the best for you in the new year.
We have no internet at home right now and probably won't until Saturday. So if I don't respond to posts/do my modly duties in a timely fashion, that's why.

This shirt is lies, all lies.
Happy third anniversary, Dereke. I love you.
(And this is my personal fuck you to all the people who were so mean-spirited and nasty to us. We're much better off without you.)
We're moving today. It's raining, which we need, but it could have come at a more convenient time. I'm not sure when we'll have internet at our new apartment (sometime this week, probably). I'll be back to work Tuesday, so that's probably the next time I'll be online. If you need to get it touch with me via phone, my number is in the FO entry linked in my userinfo. I finally have a texting plan, so if you text me, I can reply now. :)
Since this is a public entry - if something disastrous has happened in one of the communities I moderate, please email the other mods and I'm sure they'll take care of it.
