We claim that in the latest years the situation has not changed much in terms of numbers. However, we can observe some new trends concerning the repertoire of literary translations from Czech into Russian. On one hand, contemporary Czech literature is being translated now more often. On the other hand, Czech literature for children has become far more popular. Although in re-cent years some new projects promoting, in particular, Czech literature appeared in Russia, they seem not to have significant effect on the book publishing market. While analyzing non-professional readers’ reviews of Russian translations of adult Czech prose, we found out that after 2015, these reviews, still retaining an emotional component, became more oriented towards interpreting the work of fiction.

Ставится вопрос о дефинитивном тексте «Москвы-Петушков» Венедикта Ерофеева и предлагается системное описание истории изданий книги. На основе сплошного сопоставления восьми наиболее значимых изданий с рукописью и между собой выявляются связи между разными изданиями, преемственность одних изданий по отношению к другим и делается вывод, что публикуемый в последние два десятилетия текст является по сути гибридным, соединяющим, по небрежности публикаторов, разные варианты текста.

This characteristic includes three aspects: context, in which new translations of Czech prose appear, strategies the translators use in their work and amateur readers’ perception of new translations. The thesis shows, that the creative method of the translator may be studied through the analysis of his translation strategies. It demonstrates that Christiane Nord’s didactic model of translation criticism can be applied to literary translations as well and may be transformed accordingly.

In the USSR, Vaginov was published during his lifetime, but all of his posthumous publications in his homeland date back to the Perestroika and post-Perestroika era. However, in the 1970s and 1980s, Vaginov's poems and novels were published in tamizdat (in the United States and Germany), and even earlier, in 1967, six Vaginov’s poems were translated into Czech and published in socialist Czechoslovakia. The paper discusses how this became possible and who exactly contributed to this publication. Whereas in the 1960s in Czechoslovakia Vaginov was perceived as more of an avant-garde poet, at the very end of the 1980s Czech readers, along with Russians, discovered Vaginov the novelist. Czech literary scholarship of that time attempts to fit Vaginov's prose legacy into the framework of various literary traditions.

From a statistical point of view, this period is further divided into three stages-the transitional stage (1990–1991), the recession stage (1992–2000) and the boom stage (2001–2009). This development model describes the history of translations from Polish into Russian as well, although it is not typical for the Russian market of books in translation taken as a whole.
