I'm announcing a long-term

I can't delete the comm, because I wasn't the founder.
Maybe the founder will return and start posting again.

думаю, так будет лучше.

The Foo Fighters' new album will be a "Greatest Hits" album and is scheduled for release in the fall of 2009. David Grohl has confirmed this much when the Foo Fighters performed in front of the White House for a special one-time July 4th event. A new song "Wheels" was played, you can listen to it here:

Noisecreep is proud to exclusively reveal that The Used's 'Artwork' is due out September 1. The Used 'used' a new producer in the form of Matt Squire, which marked one of many changes in the band's career.

"There was a lot of synchronized headspace. We had a vision that we wanted to get across but we knew we needed to take it back to where we were in the beginning. We ditched our management. There was a series of events that got us off our a--es and made us say, 'Hey, f--- everyone else. We had some troubled water with our management and then when we worked with Matt, he let us do our thing. He was laid back and let us do our thing. It was me, my guitar and Bert singing. The last few records were more 'gangbang scrapbooking,'" guitarist Quinn Allman told Noisecreep.

The album 'Artwork' has a theme of self-hate that is a constant current rumbling through the album. "It's a body of work and it's not necessarily a pre-conception. It's about hatred of yourself of something or someone that you think you are. It's a lyrical escape into that thing. It's also about not trying to hate yourself, too. It's more about just facing that, not contemplating that way of being," Allman also said, divulging just enough info about the album's psychology and philosophy.

The hate-theme isn't a veiled reference to how the band feels about itself or each other. "In our band, we have real lives and we're real friends," Allman said. "We all have our shit. It's about self-hate definitely and weighing out the decisions in life. It's never the band. We cling to the music. It's the only thing any of us have at all. Everyone goes through it. We've been humiliated which lead us to think, 'How serious is this shit?' So, what's worth living for is the theme of the record."

While it's not uplifting, Allman is adamant that the album is an exercise in contrasts. "It creates good will. It's an uplifting contrast, though. [Vocalist] Bert [McCracken] is a great poet. I will say that. He can twist a situation into something you almost ironically play events and attitudes." As for the humiliation the band experienced? It was at the hands of former business associates.

"We were taken advantage of and had the wool pulled over our eyes and we're glad to be out of that situation. It's not that we carry it around, but that series of events reacting is what the record is about. I can see how that all goes down, where the line needs to be drawn. It will never happen again."

Singer Michael Jackson dead at 50

Legendary pop star had been preparing for London comeback tour.

Michael Jackson, the sensationally gifted child star who rose to become the “King of Pop” and the biggest celebrity in the world only to fall from his throne in a freakish series of scandals, died Thursday. He was 50.

Jackson died at UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles. Ed Winter, the assistant chief coroner for Los Angeles County, confirmed his office had been notified of the death and would handle the investigation.

The circumstances of Jackson’s death were not immediately clear. Jackson was not breathing when Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics responded to a call at his Los Angeles home about 12:30 p.m., Capt. Steve Ruda told the Los Angeles Times. The paramedics performed CPR and took him to the hospital, Ruda told the newspaper.

Jackson’s death brought a tragic end to a long, bizarre, sometimes farcical decline from his peak in the 1980s, when he was popular music’s premier all-around performer, a uniter of black and white music who shattered the race barrier on MTV, dominated the charts and dazzled even more on stage.

His 1982 album “Thriller” — which included the blockbuster hits “Beat It,” “Billie Jean” and “Thriller” — is the best-selling album of all time, with an estimated 50 million copies sold worldwide.

The public first knew him in the late 1960s, when as a boy he was the precocious, spinning lead singer of the Jackson 5, the music group he formed with his four older brothers. Among their No. 1 hits were “I Want You Back,” “ABC” and “I’ll Be There.”

June 23, 2009The drummer for the rock band My Chemical Romance is suing a dog trainer after the musician's beloved German shepherd mix died in the trainer's care – and was returned in the form of cremated remains, according to court papers.

In a bizarre lawsuit filed in Burbank Superior Court, Bob Bryar alleges breach of contract, fraud, negligence and intentional infliction of emotional distress against Daniel Schaffer, described in the action as the self-proclaimed "dog trainer to the stars."

"I don't even know what happened to my best friend and miss her more than anything in the world," Bryar tells PEOPLE. "The devastation I feel is beyond words."

Acting on a referral, Bryar says he spent $7,500 in April to send his dog Dixie – "the most important thing in his life," according to the lawsuit – to Schaffer's kennel for intense training to help the emotionally fragile, formerly abused rescue dog adjust to a new dog in the household.

About a week later, after previously telling Bryar that the dog had been "having a blast and partying all day," Schaffer reported that Dixie was killed when a drunk driver struck the vehicle in which Schaffer was carrying Dixie and other dogs, according to the lawsuit.

Later that evening, "Schaffer called (Bryar) again and informed him that he could not say goodbye to Dixie for she had been 'cremated due to her condition,'" the lawsuit says. Two days later, the trainer "delivered an urn allegedly containing Dixie's remains," the suit says. After Schaffer failed to produce a police report documenting the crash, he changed his story and said Dixie died in her sleep, then changed that story to say she died under other circumstances, the suit says.

Schaffer didn't return messages seeking comment. No response has yet been filed to Bryar's lawsuit.
