The Makers (www.themakers.global) is a global EdTech company that aims to inspire students to use STEAM skills to solve problems at their reach. We foster learning through play and get every student to experiment with Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Maths! Our Maker's Box together with the online platform creates a unique educational space where students can take self-phased learning while receiving in-person guidance and mentorship. We find our approach revolutionary in making a significant impact in fostering youth's passion for creativity and innovations.

Here’s a glimpse into the inspiring Career Guidance and Mentoring Programme held at the University of Sri Jayewardenepura , Faculty of Engineering. This event, designed to empower 3rd and final-year undergraduates along with Career Guidance Unit staff and mentoring lecturers, was supported by the Asian Development Bank (ADB) as part of the STHRD Project and organized in parallel to Global Entrepreneurship Week | Sri Lanka 2024 (#GEW2024). We are deeply grateful to Dr. Uditha Wijewardhana and the Dean, Dr. Nishan Dharmaweera, for their invaluable support in organizing this event. A big thank you to SLASSCOM (Sri Lanka Association for Software and Services Companies) Wtech Forum for joining as the knowledge partner, and to the incredible resource persons—Ms. Indu Nanayakkara, Mr. Dhammika Marasinghe, Mr. Thilina Yapa Bandara, Mr. Mohamed Rushdi Hadhi, Mr. Sachindra Samararatne, and Mr. Mohammed Jaseem—whose expertise and insights made this programme a success.
