Umi no Yuurei (original) (raw)

This music video has made me tear up due to how unexplainably beautiful it is.
I think it resonates even more deeply with me because I’ve always lived near the sea and grew up as a swimmer. There’s just something captivating about water, the vibe it gives like how objects float, how you must flow with it, how it's inhospitable, yet full of life it is.

It brought me back to friendships I once had, all the good and bad. It always manages to make me reflect.

The way Kenshi Yonezu's voice modulates after the build-ups gives me goosebumps, it sounds like he’s giving it his all.

The... instrumentals amplified all my emotions, Nostalgia, Melancholy, Hopefulness, and Regret.
