Detective Conan Movies Rewatch Before Watching Movie 26: Movie 12

Similar to movie 11, movie 12 isn't for everyone. Whereas movie 11's subject was more on the childish side, movie 12's subject was more on the "you either like it or don't" side. I enjoy classical music, so this movie was enjoyable to watch and listen. Furthermore, movie 12 gave us something rare, an original character that had a significant role in the movie. Akiba Reiko, while not exactly unique in personality, was a likable character who had a good rapport with Conan. Her partnership and interactions with Conan carried much of the movie, and had... the movie failed to make Reiko a likable character, this movie would have been average. The case presented here was decent, but it lacked cleverness. In addition, as mentioned before, classical music isn't for everyone, and those that don't enjoy classical music would have found this movie slow and boring to watch, though I would argue that the classical music complemented the tone of the movie quite well. 8/10

The classical music was beautiful and the story itself had potential but the movement was slow and altogether it was boring and hard to stay awake for. The experience was vastly different from the anime and the earlier movies were the stories were interesting and they held your attention throughout the entire hour and a half.

This movie was amazingly dreadfull, totally different from the manga and anime series. The story has potential, but everything goes so slowly and then there is the amount of classical music.

Seriously, I don't have anything against classical music, but in this movie it is brought so boringly and unfitting. I rather go to a theater when I want to hear some good classics, instead of aspecting it in a Conan movie.

So, I give the whole movie a 4 and the stories potential a 7.
