Synopsis
Yuji just got himself a new board game and he can't wait to play. What Yuji doesn't know is that the game possesses secret powers - sexual powers, to be precise. He and his stepmother decide to give it a try. The game requires drawing cards from a deck that have sexual instructions on them. Though it starts out innocently enough, Yuji soon experiences sexual feelings for his opponent. As the game progresses and the sexual tension escalates, it culminates in a sexual free-for-all with his stepmother and stepsister.

First review, dont expect much.
Nevertheless, this shall be informative and fun. What words can I use to describe it? Orgasmic, for one. This hentai is your not usual hentai, usually one sensual party forces the other unwilling party into sex, vice versa, or they mutually engage in the sex. This hentai changes such standards by forcing two unwilling parties to have the sexy time with each other. By who? A magical board game. Its not evil, it doesn't talk, and it acts like a regular game board would, but it causes the people playing it to engage in naughty activities. Ranging from french kissing, to... titty sex. And the graphics are marvelous! It's so well detailed and drawn. Plot? The only plot is after the opening scene which shows the relationship between yu and his stepmother(first episode). Anyways if you are a fan of this genre, I highly reccomend you watch this.

Hentai is can be lovely depending how it made but toss a game into factor now it becomes a competition for greatness. Now, it is fair to think that with games there is a loser. Fear not, for games can be played with no losers.
Story
It was a stellar idea for sure. Not sure what trivia pursuit had to think about it given the cover art and name choice but i am sure they are smiling on the inside. I wrote stellar but there were some unsatisfactory components. Such as...
1. Games can have multiple players or even groups that in mind a 1 on 1... is tame at best
2. Characters actions given certain events are bit mystifying. Whether you are referring to the mother after the 'bonding time' or daughter's reaction to the 'hands' or the son's eagerness to accept from a stranger. True, with all things there can be multiple approaches but were the actions taken the best ones?
3. The cards in the cover art are misleading extremely! Maybe perhaps during the production phase the well known trivia company stepped in? or perhaps it was done as a catchy look. Either way slightly ruined one's hopes.
4. games can be simple but not many are. For when a game is simple it tires out the players after a use or two. With choices it allows for a wider expansion to the game and won't tire-out as fast.
Art
Background was not skipped out on. Animation was good. Characters drawing were wonderful.
Sound
Voices matched. My attention was greatly drawn to the subtitles. The subtitles would have been better had they matched the tempo of the vocals.
Character
here the show became regular. Just stuck with basic portrayal on what they were referring to. If you were to add a reporter to the mix they might show him or her looking for their next big scoop and that would be all. Normally that basic attitude can ruin a story but here it did not. Sure there was no narrator informing you this attribute for this character instead you had to figure it out yourself. Don't worry it is fairly simple or at least for me.

Soukan Yuugi ("Sexual Pursuit" in English which seems to be a pun of "Trivial Pursuit") is an incest hentai about a boy, Yuji, who given a board game by a mysterious man. All he is told is that it will bring whoever plays it closer together. Being a naive young teenager who also has trouble reading the cards because they have "difficult" words, he asks his mother (MAL synopsis says step-mother but I don't think it's explained exactly) to play the game with him.
The game starts out with the simple rule of whoever gets to the end first wins and the only other rule being... that if someone lands on a red-space, they draw a card. The first card says "Embrace" and nothing else, but from there, the cards start getting stranger like "Kiss" before moving on to "Oral sex" and "Do it for the first time." As much as they don't want to have sex, they do end up being brought closer together in the end.
The second episode is about Yuji and his older sister. It starts off with almost a recap scene shown in the form of Yuji's sister's "dream." Unlike the first episode, it doesn't really have much to do with the board game and only even has one card from it that starts everything.
The art is decent. It's not censored at all and the sex scenes are drawn pretty well but they occasionally have shots that are used for too long. Neither of the two girls really look unique either.
The only characters are Yuji, who is your stereotypical wimpy hentai guy who has feelings for his family members, Aoi, Yuji's mom, and Yuri, who is your typical tsundere, blonde older sister.
Soukan Yuugi is a decent hentai but not anything memorable. It does have some pretty good sex scenes and it's not censored. Despite not being very interesting, the characters still aren't annoying and all of the voice acting is good. If you like vanilla incest hentai you may want to watch this, but if you don't like incest at all then definitely stay away from it.
