Watashi no Touchika (original) (raw)

Short and sweet but personally the ending was a bit too enigmatic (confusing) for my taste. I'm sure there was a metaphor or two I missed that would have made it make sense, if you find them please explain it to me!

The story covers feelings of loneliness whilst not being physically alone, not fitting in, poor home life, etc. relatable themes presented in a digestible way.

The art is gentler and more "indie" than typical anime, a nice change of pace from time to time and certainly a good fit for the story as one giant metaphor.

Realistic and enjoyable characters.

I can't think of many people who'd... feel like they wasted their time watching this other than someone hooked on action only or an "indie snob" who has seen a million like it already.
