However when Midoro appears to slow down because of her foal, he removes the foal and sells it. Hyakkimaru buys the foal for Dororo, but the broken-hearted Midoro, breaks away and turns into a ferocious horse. She becomes possessed by a demon, setting the city aflame and killing Kageyuki, however Dororo refuses to believe she’s possessed.
