You know the feeling you get when you see your favorite side characters being their best while the main characters are still floundering on? This is all that in series format.Slice of life in its purest form with relatable struggles both minor or major.I have just caught up to the story and I have yet to see a "real" social life crisis (although I'm sensing a welcome turning point in the latest chapters).Art style is very good and is able to convey all the details needed for proper immersion to the... story. However, the problems in the story is not some triangle love or ridiculous misunderstandings, it is about being brave enough to confess to your crush, being strong enough to overcome the job hunting phases, etc. Yep that's this manga's drama. For a young adult like me, it was so relatable that it pained me sometimes. The character development here is such a natural and pleasant things to look at. I don't know how many times I went "Yes, that's my girl!" Oh, not to mention, the relationship here is so... healthy and wholesome. They support each others and communicate so well. She started her part-time job at a supermarket and here she found your romantic pair, Irie a tall and education man with glasses, that once helped her during her first days when a customer asked her to carry heavy goods, he as a good gentleman has carried the merchandise in her place, since then she likes him, but he likes her? Or just see her as a co-worker? Is he really a gentleman? who knows.Art: well done and the colorful pages really make me want to see an anime, but one step at a time.Character: Without Nobuko... and Irie there Abe is the female hysterical co worker that seems to know that Nobuko like Irie.In the end this manga is Promising the story itself is not new, But all the stories are cliche, what sets them apart is how you go about doing their makeup.
