Synopsis

Deep within the forest, head priest Masataka Kani takes care of a sacred shrine built exclusively for the Chinese Zodiac animals and their servants. One day, a young man named Kotarou Komano comes to the shrine to seek shelter for his spirit companion, calico cat Koma. With no place for Koma to be worshiped, Kotarou is desperate to prevent his friend from fading, even willing to let go of the hatred he and Koma have for the leaders of the Chinese Zodiac.

Masataka, a cat lover, accepts his proposal without a second thought. Over time, their relationship begins to blossom, but there is one problem: every month, Masataka becomes possessed by one of the Chinese Zodiac animals, causing his personality to go through drastic changes! How will they overcome this obstacle?
