Tate no Yuusha no Toaru Ichinichi (original) (raw)

I thought this was nice.

The art was good. It was a much cuter style than the main storyline and other spinoffs. Lines were cleaner and thinner.

The plot and development were about average for its aim: slice of life side stories of the main cast. The plus is that the individual episodic stories were directly tied to events in the main storyline such as what the cast may have been doing a few hours later after the event, on another particular day at the location, or maybe their internal thoughts/feelings about them. I thought this was good because it added a bit more meat to each... of the memorable parts of the main story.

The conclusion was average, but very appreciated.

I would recommend reading this. The main storyline gets right down to business without much "downtime" and the spinoffs of Shield Hero all do a wonderful job in adding life to the world, its characters, and developments; this manga is one of them.
