Synopsis
The Sorcerers' Guild was once a powerful organization. However, when it became known that it possessed multiple powerful grimoires—magic textbooks—the guild was quickly certified as a terrorist organization. A chivalric Order was formed with the goal of preventing the wizards from potentially destroying the world with their dangerous grimoires. The wizards started falling one by one, being persecuted and executed by members of the Order.
With the guild disbanded, there are only a few remaining wizards scattered around the world. They spend their days hidden away, now considered dangerous criminals. One such wizard is Spectra, the Spectral Wizard. Her everyday life consists of lazing around in her room and occasionally talking to Misaki, a member of the Order. However, this wizard has only one wish: to cure the loneliness in her heart.

A short manga about loneliness. We follow Spectra a wizard who has lost everything but really only wants human connection.
The manga is clear that it's about loneliness but the other aspects are open to interpretation. I think it covers the how different people try to cope with loneliness. One tries to fill the void with objects, one tries to stave off loneliness by retreating it themselves with out care for anyone else, one tries to dedicate themselves to a purpose. All of them are bound to a long gone past however and ultimately the lesson is that the world changes regardless of what we want... and we need to move on too.
The five chapters in this manga are loosely connected together but share the theme of loneliness and all have the same melancholic but optimistic feeling that pervades the manga. The atmosphere is really the selling point of the manga. There is some world building that's interesting but nothing really in-depth
The art looks like something from a cartoon but it has it's charm.
I recommend this, it's a pretty unique manga.
