Ame no Kubi (original) (raw)

This manga is very short and surprisingly wholesome, despite its seemingly morbid premise.

It's a very quick read and the art style is definitely its standout feature, due to the fact that the plot is quite simple and doesn't diverge from the synopsis much. The art itself has a rather sketch-like quality that fits the offbeat tone of the story and setting quite well. The characters are charming and the page layout is unique as well. As far as graphic content, this manga is quite tame and doesn't contain anything that would be considered especially disturbing, aside from the overall atmosphere of the work.

Overall, this... is definitely worth a read, even if it's not something that really spoke to me.
