About my personal scoring system:
I have three general categories that an anime will fall under:
8-10 - Really good anime
5-7 - Decent anime
4 or less - Bad or very mediocre anime
By the third episode, I can usually pick which category an anime will end up in. From there I like to keep the scores pretty even among the categories with my typical score falling between 6s and 7s. I do every so often change a score if I feel like an anime needs to be updated.
