My ratings all appear only on s1 of the shows that I watch because I am lazy and don't feel like rating every season, but keep in mind that is my rating for the entire show !

Shout out to hianime (the best site to watch anime) https://hianime.to/

ALSO I LOVE GHIBLI STUDIO <3 (superfan)

Summertime rendering

Truly a hidden gem, would be my first reccomendation to anyone who is looking for one. The story evolves and reveals itself more with every episode which keeps you entertained, invested, and constantly thinking as the story continues; which is what I love and look for in the shows I watch. In addition, it has a peak mc (which kinda looks like me irl, my pfp) and a great set of cast. The ending also lives up to the hype of the entire show so the build is up is worth it, also leaving you with that amazing satisfied feeling after finishing a show you were invested into and really liked. P.S if you like plot twists this will be your jam too.

Toradora

I Love the dynamic between Taiga and Ryuji both misunderstood as tough guys, while in reality being super emotional on the inside, which led to their fateful meeting. This show is honestly so heart warming and one of the few shows ive full on cried to at the end. If you love romance I highly recommend this show, the growing relationship between the mcs is some of the best development I have seen along with the solo development of the characters, especially taiga learning how to love and accept her emotions/help from others instead of just toughing it out.

Haikyuu

100% the goat sports anime oat no debate about it. This show will legit make you wanna start playing volleyball (which I actually did play varsity hs volleyball because of it) The thrill and rush and excitment you get from this show is uncomparable to any other show, sports shows aside. For one the amazing variety of characters and cast, the way they are able to portay peoples personallities through the game of volleyball, along with their incredibly creative character designs, makes it easy for anyone to find someone they like and connect with. Secondly the character development in the especially in the karasuno team is unreal, again there is a character for everyone to connect and relate with, Tsukishima getting over not having fun, or Hinata overcoming his height disadvantage, Asahi getting over his fear of losing etc. And of course the insane animation paired with the amazing production creates a thrill and investment in the matches like no other show does.
